All of us have several strings of stories intertwined in minds , about places and faces of people who are like withering memories.

Every setback in life , every painful memory or every sad association makes us learn something in life, instead of taking life just for its face value. 

We live in our mortal coils riding in the ebbs and flows of our lives. 

Moments of solitude teach us that our only best friend is silence, helping us evaluate ourselves as we follow the trail of   accumulated memories .

We learn and evaluate. Evaluate and learn .

Someone asked what the greatest happiness in the world was.

Someone said being in love . Someone said motherhood. Someone said learning. Someone said freedom. 

But all this is able to rub its magic only momentarily . It does not make us float and sway in unshaking happiness forever.

The very idea of happiness and misery is the cause of all the chaos in our lives. We go after happiness and end up being miserable.

Do away with both of them.

The greatest happiness is selflessly striving for the well being and happiness of others. 

The spark of joy that crawls from the heart and gives us a glimpse through the window of a person's eyes is the greatest joy in the world. 

When we work selflessly for the divine in everyone , we forget ourselves. Neither are we perturbed by the idea of happiness or the thought of unexpected misery.

In this way when we give away the most coveted thing of all , happiness , to one and all not thinking about ourselves we will have tried to give the world something incredible , which each one of us are capable but are completely unaware of - love.

Instead of sulking and going down the spiral and thinking that life has become stagnant and that there is no hope , Rise , take a deep breadth and imagine the wonders we humans are capable of .

The spark of joy

 The ceaseless-seeming showers touch the bosom of the terrain,

And courses its way through the arteries of this Earth.

I look at the regular sight of rain with Oh! such wonder!

gushing down the heavens to become one with the gaia.

I see the desperate drops flowing down the breasts of trees

And dancing on the helms of leaves.

The murmur of the showers increase in the silence of an empty street.

The unusual change outside settles the disputes of my mind.

Leaving me free to churn the ocean of Desires, of Emotions, and ,

Make out of it the curd of utter abnegation and unspeakable love.

In resolute solitude I sit, 

longing to let my heart set free.

Then , come the showers of heaven,

Telling all that I had to say to thee.

"Leaving me free to churn the ocean of desires"

 The feminine energy ( Shakti ), is the source of all creation. The entire creation is manifest because of this Shakti . 

The entire universe as it is would have been a pure form of suspended energy. Pure energy. But    Shakti, has projected through illusion, the play of consciousness to experience this source of pure energy, absolute bliss.

Without  this projected consciousness it is not possible to make sense of the creation. 

         " Ya devi sarva bhuteshu "

- the devi( mother) is omni present in everyone and everything as consciousness . There is no place that the devi is not present.

The play of Purusha and Prakriti have made the universe , the playground of consciousness. 

The feminine is the source of all emotions ,of all illusion, which makes the ceaseless transition of birth and death animate.

                Shakti is power .

The divine mother

Every woman longs for completion. She ultimately finds her completion, in being a Mother . 

The personality of a pious and selfless mother has been the reason behind the birth of the  greatest personalities of history.

Mothers are the heart of a country. Their upbringing and influence on the offsprings reflect the face of the society and perhaps the fate of a country and of the world.

Their great sons and daughters , make new milestones , write a better history.
